 VISION Statement

Destiny Family Assembly Inc. is a church with a vision for the purposeless and less privilege in our society at large.

We have a Vision to give direction to the directionless, purpose to the purposeless and empowerment to the down-trodden through the propagation of God's word, teachings, seminars and counseling

Mission Statement

We are a church and people that is a Christ-centered, biblically grounded, ethnically diverse people called to radical personal discipleship in Christ Jesus. Our commitment to the Lord Jesus propels us to nurture authentic relationships with one another; build healthy churches; transform our communities, our nations and our world; engage every member in hands-on ministry; and speak the prophetic word in love.

As a people of prayer, purpose, and passion, we are poised towards creating a community of faith where people of every race, nationality and culture gather as one in worship, service and work.

The heart of the gospel is God’s redemptive love. In our life together, the world will see the power of forgiveness to overcome alienation, the strength of love to transform hate, the power of grace to break the bonds of guilt, the triumph of hope over despair, and the victory of faith over doubt.

Through the cross of Christ we embrace the world as neighbor. Our vision for mission energizes a multitude of servant ministries of evangelism, discipleship, leadership, new church development, social justice, healing, peacemaking, economic development and education. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we work together in mutual submission, humility, love, and giving that the gospel might be preached and lived in all the world.

Our Belief

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (II Tim 3:16, 17)

We believe in the triune Godhead as eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. II Cor. 13:14)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, through His shed Blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry. (II Tim. 3:16, Rom. 3:25, 26)

We believe in evangelistic and missionary work. The mission work is a response to Christ’s call to “make disciples of all nations. (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-18)

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We further believe in the keeping power of God. (Heb. 9:22, Jude 24, 25)

We believe in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life as God’s design for the Church, which is the Bride of Christ. (Eph. 5:25-27)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries and in His fruit in the life of the believer. (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6, Eph. 4:11; I Cor. 12:8-11; Gal. 5:22,23)

We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement. (I Pet. 2:24; Matt. 8-17)

We believe in Christ’s imminent personal return in power and great glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion. (Acts 1:8; Rev. 1:7; Dan. 7:14)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment. (John 5:28, 29; Rev. 20:15)

We believe that the ordinances of baptism by immersion in water and observance of the Lord’s Supper should be regularly practiced in the local assembly. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; I Cor. 11:23-26)

We believe in the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion, the bread and cup that symbolize the broken body and shed blood offered by Christ recall God’s great love for us—just as they did for the disciples on the eve of Christ’s crucifixion.

We believe in religious freedom and respect the expressions of faith of others. This is achieved through through supporting separation of church and state, advocating for people everywhere to be guaranteed the right to worship free from discrimination, and lifting up respectful dialog as a healthy means to understanding

We believe that it is the duty and privilege of every believer to support the local assembly with his regular presence, giving of tithes and offerings and service. We believe that tithing, accompanied by free-will offerings, is God’s ordained method to finance the spreading of the Gospel and the needs of the local assembly. (Heb. 10:25; 2 Cor. 8,9; 1 Pet. 4:10, Mal. 3:8-12)

We believe and acknowledges that God’s family extends beyond our local churches, and that God calls us to cooperative ministries. Members see that the effectiveness of their ministries would be greater through cooperation with other believers.

We believe that sexual purity is a necessary expression for all of God’s children and requires abstinence from adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality or other sexual relationships or practices forbidden in Scripture. (Heb. 13:4; I Cor. 6:18; Lev. 18:1-30)

We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and a sacred institution established by God. (Matt. 19:4-6
