Keys to success

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy month; but thou salt meditate therein day night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8)
The law had already been written by Moses, and from which he and the people were to take all those precepts by which their lives were to be governed. Though there was a copy laid up in the sanctuary, yet this was not sufficient. Joshua wanted a copy for himself, which he would consult frequently, that his way might be made prosperous, and that he might have good success. He believed that if he kept God’s word, God would keep him body and soul; that in itself is the Truth. Those who are obedient to God lack no manner of thing that is good.
This scripture is the Master Key every believer needs to apply in life to have a successful life. It says ‘this book of the law shall not depart from your mouth’, meaning you must continually speak the world not Just leave it in your heart. When you mediate on the word, it simply means thinking deeply on it and speaking it loud to your self or quietly in you mind. Leaving the word in your heart alone without declaring it, amount to nothing. When you speak it forth, it becomes Rhema (Greek) – the creative Word. This creative word will produce excellent results.
Speaking the word is very important to the child of God. Romans 10:10 says, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the salvation.” (With the mouth confession is made…) that is, confession or profession is so made as to obtain salvation. He who in all appropriate ways professed his attachment to Christ shall be saved. This profession is to be made in all the proper ways, by declaring on all proper occasions our belief of the truth; and by an unwavering adherence to them in all situations. He who declares his belief makes a profession. He who associates with Christian people does it. He who acts with them in the prayer meeting, in the sanctuary, and in deeds of benevolence, does it. He who is baptized, and commemorates the death of the Lord Jesus, does it. And he, who leads a humble, prayerful, spiritual life, does it. In whatever way we can manifest attachment to it, it must be done.
The reason why this is made so important is that there can be no true attachment to Christ which will not manifest itself in life. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. It is impossible that there could be true belief in the heart of man, unless it shows; hence it is made so important in the business of his faith.
My beloved, the way to the life of success God has called you into, is constant speaking of the Word; you must be a Word – taker. There are not enough hindrances, success blocks, principalities, evil power – just name it, in the world to stop you when you are a World – Taker. God’s Word in your month is the tool that takes you further – into a life of success and prosperity in body and soul. Hold on to this truth and you will soar like an eagle, looking down at a world full of possibilities PEACE!
